Gathering Expansion + Hammerhead Project

During 2022, Equitrans invested approximately $266 million in gathering projects. For 2023, the Company expects to invest approximately $250 to $300 million in gathering expansion projects (inclusive of expected capital expenditures related to noncontrolling interests in Eureka Midstream), including the continued gathering infrastructure expansion of core development areas in the Marcellus and Utica Shales in southwestern Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia.

The Hammerhead project, a 1.6 Bcf per day gathering header pipeline, is primarily designed to connect natural gas produced in Pennsylvania and West Virginia to the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP). Equitrans expects Hammerhead pipeline full commercial in-service to commence in conjunction with full MVP in-service.
